Refund Policy

Full refund within fourteen days of purchase, no questions asked. Email [email protected] from the address you purchased with and we will process it. After fourteen days we generally do not offer refunds, except where required by law.
1. The fourteen-day window
Every WhisprDesk license purchase comes with a fourteen-day no-questions-asked refund window. The window starts on the day of purchase, as shown on your Stripe receipt. You do not need to provide a reason. The fourteen-day window exists so you can try the product without risk.
2. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from the address you used to purchase (include your receipt or order reference if you have it). We will:
- Confirm receipt within one business day
- Issue the refund through Stripe within three business days, to your original payment method. You will receive a confirmation email once the refund is issued. Refunds typically appear on your statement within three to ten business days after that, depending on your bank.
- Deactivate your license. The app on your Mac detects this on its next license check (at launch or its periodic check) and returns to its unlicensed state: dictation and transcription stop working, and the app shows a notice that the license has been deactivated, directing you to support.
3. After fourteen days
We do not offer refunds after the fourteen-day window has elapsed, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law. If you believe you have a statutory right to a refund beyond the fourteen-day window, email us. We will assess the request in good faith.
4. Free trial
If a free trial is available, it is the right way to find out whether WhisprDesk works for your workflow before you pay. The free trial does not require a card and does not auto-convert to a paid license.
5. Subscriptions
WhisprDesk licenses are currently sold as one-time purchases that do not auto-renew. If we offer subscription pricing in the future, we will disclose renewal terms, the cancellation method, and the timing of any refunds clearly before purchase, and we will update this policy with the specifics that apply.
6. How payments and refunds are processed
Payments are processed on our behalf by Stripe, and RBJ Global LLC is the seller of record. When we issue a refund, Stripe returns the funds to your original payment method and we email you a confirmation. We do not operate a separate self-service refund portal. Email [email protected] and we will handle it directly.
7. Chargebacks
Please email [email protected] before initiating a credit-card chargeback. We would much rather refund you directly. It is faster for you and avoids fees on our side. If a chargeback is filed without first contacting us and we determine the underlying transaction was valid (for example, a license that has been actively used past the fourteen-day refund window), we may dispute the chargeback with evidence of use and may suspend the associated license while the chargeback is open.
